Iselin, New Jersey, United States, May 2025 – Veena Viswanath has officially stepped into a new role as Head of People & Organization – Digital Industries Automation, US at Siemens, further strengthening her impactful journey with the global tech leader. With nearly six years at Siemens, Veena’s promotion is a recognition of her transformative work across multiple business divisions and her deep commitment to progressive, human-centric HR leadership.
In her new role, Veena will lead strategic people and organization initiatives for the Digital Industries Automation business in the U.S., enabling workforce transformation, inclusive leadership development, and performance-driven culture across the division.
Veena most recently served as Workforce Transformation & HR Business Partner Leader for Siemens Smart Infrastructure (US). In this capacity, she spearheaded initiatives that advanced talent strategy, culture change, and data-informed HR leadership across hybrid and digitally evolving teams.
Before that, she held the position of Global HR Business Partner Leader (Director) at Siemens Financial Services, where she partnered with the leadership teams in Equity and Debt Finance to drive change management, succession planning, and talent acceleration programs. Her role was instrumental in coaching senior leaders on inclusive behaviors, culture enablement, and cohesive team leadership.
Earlier, as Senior HR Strategy Consultant, Veena managed cross-functional transformation projects such as Siemens’ COVID-19 HR strategy, “My Growth” initiatives for learning mindset, and data literacy strategy for HRBPs. She created storytelling tools that integrated data from multiple HR platforms, reinforcing her ability to blend analytics with compelling narrative.
Before Siemens, Veena held roles at Prudential Financial, where she led strategy, operations, compensation management, and HR analytics. Her previous experience spans across Comrise, Infosys, and multiple project-based roles in HR and employer branding.
