New Britain, Connecticut, United States, June 2025 – Elma Jakupovic has joined Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as Vice President, Executive Compensation. In this new leadership role, Elma will oversee the design, implementation, and governance of executive compensation programs, ensuring the company continues to attract and retain top leadership talent while aligning rewards with long-term business strategy and shareholder value.
Prior to joining Stanley Black & Decker, Elma had an extensive and impactful career at Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) spanning nearly 15 years. She most recently served as Director, Executive and Global Compensation; Global HR Business Partner, where she was responsible for developing and leading compensation strategies for executives across the organization. Elma’s journey at ADM included several pivotal roles such as Regional Compensation Manager and HR Business Partner for EMEA/APAC, HR Manager for Switzerland, and HR Project Specialist (HRLDP), reflecting her global expertise in compensation and human resources leadership.
Earlier in her career, Elma held the position of HR Field Generalist at ADM in the United States, where she contributed to HR operations and business partnership initiatives across multiple sites, and also worked as a Global Compensation Specialist supporting the organization’s global compensation frameworks. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
