Sydney, Australia, June 2025 – Lauren Cooper has joined Star Aviation™ as Head of People & Culture, taking on responsibility for leading the organization’s people strategy and supporting a culture of high engagement and growth across the company’s operations in Australia.
Prior to joining Star Aviation™, Lauren was Director of People & Culture at Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, where she spent nearly five years in roles that included leading the overall people function and guiding HR strategy for the business. Earlier, Lauren held roles at Bupa as People Partner, contributing to talent management and organizational development for two years.
Lauren also brings experience from the property sector, having served as Talent & Diversity Advisor at CBRE, where she advanced diversity and talent initiatives. Her earlier career spans roles such as Cluster Human Resources Manager at Clayton Hotels in London, and similar multi-property HR leadership roles at Mercure Auckland (Accor), and Mercure Wellington. Lauren has also held project management and learning & development positions with Accor and served as a consultant with Momenta Group Limited.
