Orlando, Florida, United States, June 2025 – Michelle Scott has accepted the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Groups Recover Together, the national leader in value-based care for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment. In her new role, Michelle will oversee all HR functions across North America, working to build a high-performing, purpose-driven culture that supports Groups’ mission of transforming lives through evidence-based, compassionate addiction health care.
Before joining Groups Recover Together, Michelle served as Executive Director of Human Resources at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa for nearly three years, where she led comprehensive HR strategies for a large, diverse hospitality workforce in Florida. Her experience included talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Previously, Michelle was Human Resources Director at Casino Del Sol Resort in Arizona, where she drove HR initiatives to enhance talent acquisition, compliance, and team engagement. Earlier, she spent over five years as Regional Administrator & Vice President of Human Resources at Bloomberg Eye Center in Central Ohio, focusing on workforce optimization, operational leadership, and HR best practices in the healthcare sector.
Michelle’s career also includes executive HR leadership roles with SHR Universal LLC, Hard Rock Northfield Park Rocksino, and Pinnacle Entertainment, as well as experience in business development with Gaming Recruiters, LLC. Across these diverse industries, she has been known for her commitment to strategic HR leadership, employee well-being, and building inclusive, high-performance cultures.
