Bangalore, Karnataka, India, June 2025 – Shruthi Mallya has been appointed as the Global People Business Partner Director at Kongsberg Digital, marking an exciting new phase in her journey as a strategic HR leader. In her new role, Shruthi will collaborate closely with global leaders and teams to shape and deliver people strategies aligned with Kongsberg Digital’s business ambitions, with a keen focus on empowering employees, fostering an inclusive culture, and driving high-impact workforce initiatives.
In her previous capacity as Director People APAC at Kongsberg Digital, Shruthi led the talent strategy across India, China, Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia. She played a pivotal role in talent retention, leadership development, and building a high-performance culture. Responsible for People Operations in multiple regions, she championed diversity and inclusion initiatives and consistently aligned HR practices with business growth and innovation.
During her tenure as VP People Operations and Services (Interim), Shruthi successfully stabilized global People Operations, leading key initiatives that streamlined processes across EMEA and the US. Her leadership ensured alignment and efficiency during a crucial period of transition, setting a solid foundation for sustainable HR operations worldwide.
Before joining Kongsberg Digital, Shruthi was the Human Resources Business Partner at Encore Software Services, Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she managed the complete HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, and compliance. She also has experience as an Onboarding Specialist at IBM and as a Senior Process Associate at Accenture, developing strong expertise in employee experience, audit processes, and operational excellence.
Shruthi holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Services from JAIN College, bringing both strategic vision and operational expertise to her new role at Kongsberg Digital.
