Rohit Shelodkar Appointed as Head of Learning and Development at Paradeep Phosphates Limited

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 – Rohit Shelodkar has taken on a new leadership role as Head of Learning and Development at Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL), Adventz Group. In this role, he is responsible for strengthening enterprise learning architecture, building future-ready leadership pipelines, and enabling capability development aligned to PPL’s large-scale manufacturing, sustainability, and farmer-centric growth strategy.

In his current role at Paradeep Phosphates Limited, Rohit is leading the organization’s learning and development strategy, driving leadership capability, functional skill building, and workforce readiness to support PPL’s rapidly expanding pan-India manufacturing and distribution footprint.

Prior to this, he served as Senior Manager – Learning and Development at Coromandel International Limited, where he led enterprise learning programs and leadership development initiatives across manufacturing and agri-input businesses.

Earlier, he was Learning and Development Manager at Adani Enterprises Limited, supporting learning strategy, talent capability building, and leadership development across diversified business verticals.

He spent a decade at Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., where he progressed through multiple HR and L&D leadership roles including Sr. Manager, HR & L&D, Manager – Human Resources, and Deputy Manager, building deep experience in manufacturing HR, plant learning ecosystems, and workforce development.

Rohit holds a Postgraduate Certification in Human Resource Management from XLRI Jamshedpur.

About Paradeep Phosphates Limited

Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) is one of India’s leading phosphatic fertilizer companies with a production capacity of 3.0 million metric tonnes (MMT), including 2.6 MMT of phosphates and 0.4 MMT of urea. The company operates large manufacturing facilities in Paradeep, Odisha (1.8 MMT) and Zuarinagar, Goa (1.2 MMT) and produces DAP, multiple NPK grades, urea, and industrial chemicals.

PPL reaches over 9.5 million farmers through a distribution network of 95,000 retailers across 15 states. Its brands Jai Kisaan and Navratna support strong pan-India market presence. Since 2022, PPL has expanded capacity from 1.2 to 3.0 MMT and scaled phosphoric acid production to 0.5 MMT annually.

Sustainability is integral to PPL’s operations, guided by GRI, SASB, and UN-SDGs. In 2024, PPL achieved an ESG score of 75 in the S&P CSA, ranking among the top 2% globally in the chemicals sector. Established in 1981, PPL is now majority-owned (56.08%) by Zuari Maroc Phosphates Pvt. Ltd.
