Hyderabad, Telangana, India, July 2025 – Jyoti Prakash Das has been promoted to Head: New Product Development for Optical Fiber Cable Products at HFCL Limited, marking a significant milestone in his career with the company. In his new role, Jyoti will orchestrate the end-to-end new product development pipeline, leading cross-functional collaboration and driving the “Customer to Concept” process for annual, value-driven product roll-outs that align with HFCL’s long-term growth targets.
Having joined HFCL over five years ago, Jyoti has progressively advanced through pivotal roles including Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, and Manager in New Product Development. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership in mentoring cross-functional teams, developing innovative collaboration programs, and streamlining processes to enhance the company’s innovation ecosystem. His ability to guide product design, development, and refinement—while leveraging consumer research—has resulted in successful commercialization of new concepts and products.
Prior to his time at HFCL, Jyoti worked as Assistant Manager Production at Gupta Power Infrastructure Limited, where he executed production schedules, managed manpower and machinery planning, and implemented quality control processes to optimize production accuracy and efficiency. His hands-on experience across supply chain management, inventory planning, and production troubleshooting laid a strong foundation for his later achievements in product development.
Jyoti’s early career at Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited Group in Goa saw him excel as a Senior Engineer in Production. He led workforce planning, shop floor management, and implemented innovative ideas to improve operational efficiency. His contributions to quality standards, process optimization, and SAP-driven planning made him a valuable asset to the organization from the outset.
