Pune, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Sharang Rajopadhye has been elevated to the role of General Manager – Human Resources at Bajaj Auto Ltd, marking a significant milestone in his over 14-year-long journey with the company. In his new position, Sharang will continue to lead Global Total Rewards and serve as HR Business Leader for KTM India, driving strategic people initiatives and organizational effectiveness across both domestic and international markets.

Before this elevation, Sharang held the role of Divisional Manager – Human Resources for over six years, where he was responsible for leading compensation planning, performance management, and HR business partnering for KTM Sportsmotorcycle AG India Pvt. Ltd. He played a key role in aligning people strategies with the performance-driven culture at Bajaj Auto’s premium motorcycle segment.

Previously, he served as Manager – Corporate Human Resources, overseeing core areas like compensation, performance systems, and talent alignment for nearly four years. His deep understanding of HR systems and cross-functional collaboration enabled him to implement scalable and impactful workforce practices.

He began his journey at Bajaj Auto in 2011 as Assistant Manager – Human Resources, and over the years, developed deep expertise in corporate C&B, generalist HR functions, and business partnering. His prior roles include impactful HR assignments at Virgo Engineers Ltd. and a four-year stint at Tata Ficosa Automotive Systems Ltd., where he managed corporate and plant HR functions, workforce planning, training, and SAP HR implementations.
