Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, July 2025 – Anupam Onkar Singh has been appointed as Head of Human Resources at Exide Energy Solutions Ltd, where he will lead people strategy and HR transformation for India’s first Lithium-ion cell giga plant. In his new role, Anupam will be responsible for spearheading the design and execution of cutting-edge HR systems aligned with Exide Energy’s growth agenda in the green energy sector.
Before joining Exide Energy, Anupam served as Chief Human Resources Officer at ESL Steel Limited for nearly three years. He played a pivotal role in building leadership capability, leading HR transformation initiatives, and driving employee engagement and performance optimization across a complex industrial ecosystem.
Earlier, he was Head of Human Resources at Galaxy Surfactants Limited, where he drove HR innovation, culture alignment, and total rewards strategies in a dynamic chemical manufacturing environment. He also held the position of Head of Human Resources at RSPL Group, contributing over five years to the growth of the Soda Ash business by designing competency frameworks and retention strategies.
Anupam’s extensive career also includes HR leadership roles at Titan Company Limited, Claris Limited, and VISPL, where he contributed across various facets of HR, including organizational design, talent development, grievance handling, and strategic HR planning. He holds a postgraduate degree in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur, strengthening his capability in leadership development and HRM excellence.
