Addison, Texas, United States, August 2025 — CECO Environmental Corporation has announced the appointment of Stephanie Capron as Chief Human Resources Officer (Acting). In this role, Stephanie will lead CECO’s global human resources function, driving talent strategy, organizational development, and HR operations to support the company’s mission of protecting people, the environment, and industrial equipment across the globe.
Stephanie has been with CECO Environmental Corporation since 2023, most recently serving as Chief of Staff, Human Resources, where she co-led the strategic transformation of CECO’s global HR function through M&A integration, organizational redesign, and automation of key talent processes. She also spearheaded HR due diligence and post-merger integration for multiple acquisitions, implemented a global applicant tracking system that improved candidate experience and reduced hiring timelines, and introduced advanced data analytics into recruitment strategy.
In addition to her role at CECO, Stephanie is the Owner & Principal Consultant of Synchra Solutions, a boutique HR consultancy she co-founded in 2017. Through Synchra Solutions, she has advised CEOs and executive teams across diverse industries—designing scalable HR infrastructure, leadership development programs, total rewards strategies, and organizational change initiatives to drive sustainable business outcomes.
Previously, Stephanie was Global Director of Human Resources at Smithers, where she led HR strategy across North America, Europe, and Asia, supporting operations in highly regulated markets and managing global compliance, talent acquisition, and M&A integration. Her earlier career includes nearly two decades as Vice President of Human Resources at Ritzman Pharmacies, Inc., The RefreshinQ Co., & Summa’s Home Infusion, where she built HR systems to support long-term growth and led cultural integration through multiple acquisitions. She began her career in the financial services sector at FirstMerit Bank, where she played a key role in post-merger operational unification.
