Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 — Amit Agarwal has been appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Croma, returning to a full-time leadership position after a recent stint as a fractional marketing advisor to several digital-first and D2C brands. Over the past year, he partnered with startups across consumer tech, health tech, food, baby care, and ad-tech, guiding their scaling journeys from the initial phase (1–10) to rapid growth (10–100). Notably, he advised a health-tech startup that secured an “all‑shark deal” on Shark Tank India and helped triple its revenue in just seven months.
With over two decades of leadership experience, Amit has held senior roles at Viacom18, Google, Unilever, Jet Airways, and GSK Consumer Healthcare. At Google, he grew the Mid‑Market & SMB Ads business from $2.5 billion to over $6 billion per quarter. At Unilever, he led global marketing for Surf Excel, Pureit, and Blueair, driving innovations and acquisitions across India, China, and other markets. His career spans brand building, digital transformation, global marketing strategy, and P&L leadership, making him well-positioned to lead Croma’s next chapter of consumer-centric growth.
Amit holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta and has obtained executive certifications in Digital Marketing from Columbia Business School and Leadership from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
In his new role, he will leverage his strategic acumen and digital marketing expertise to elevate Croma’s brand identity, drive omnichannel engagement, and fuel sustained growth in a competitive retail landscape.
