Noida, Uttar Pradesh ,India – August 2025 — Kunal Sharma has been elevated as Vice President at KRBL Limited, where he now spearheads the Marketing, Modern Trade, and E-commerce verticals for India Gate, the world’s No.1 Basmati rice brand. This role marks a significant step in his 18-year journey through India’s FMCG sector, known for his expertise in sales, category management, brand marketing, and digital strategy.
At KRBL, Kunal is shaping the company’s “KRBL 2.0” vision, blending deep consumer insights with technology-led innovation to drive leadership in retail and online markets. Previously, as Head of Marketing, he laid the foundation for this strategic transformation with a sharp focus on digital execution and consumer-centric campaigns.
Before joining KRBL, Kunal spent nearly a decade at Dabur India Limited, where he held progressive marketing roles across key brands like Dabur Honey, Dabur Glucose, and Dabur Tea. His tenure was defined by large-scale campaigns, innovation-led portfolio growth, and brand revitalization—most notably through fitness-themed advertising and seasonal marketing initiatives.
Kunal began his career at ITC Limited, where he held key sales and branch leadership roles across Hyderabad, Nagpur, and Pune. This early exposure gave him a strong grounding in field execution and market operations, a foundation that continues to shape his leadership style.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Kunal also serves as a Board Advisor to the India Influencer Governing Council (IIGC), contributing to the broader marketing ecosystem through policy and governance insights.
An MBA in Marketing from the Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur, Kunal Sharma brings a well-rounded mix of brand thinking, digital transformation, and sales execution to KRBL’s continued growth in the food and FMCG space.
