Stockholm, Sweden, September 2025 – Staffan Larsson has joined SEB as Chief IT Architect, Business & Retail Banking Digital Solutions, taking charge of a strategic transformation that aims to make SEB the #1 digital retail bank in Sweden. In this pivotal leadership role, Staffan is spearheading the architectural vision and guiding a team of solution architects to shape the bank’s future in cloud-native, scalable, and data-driven technologies.
Before joining SEB, Staffan Larsson was part of the leadership team at Atlas Copco, where he served as Enterprise Architect for Digital Sales and Marketing. For over two and a half years, he contributed to streamlining digital CRM and eCommerce platforms and driving strategic alignment across cross-functional teams.
Prior to that, he played an instrumental role at H&M, holding a series of impactful positions including Director of Product and Engineering for Checkout, and Manager of Enterprise Architecture for Sales and Marketing. Over the course of eight years, he helped scale digital solutions across 70+ countries, led 28 product teams, and managed complex architectural roadmaps for both online and in-store retail operations.
Staffan also brings deep experience from his time at Oracle, where he served for 15 years in roles ranging from Business Development Director for Supply Chain Applications to Director of Sales Consulting and Solution Architect for the Nordics and Germany. His technical and leadership expertise was further enriched by earlier tenures at IBM, Siemens, and Volvo Construction Equipment, covering project management, ERP systems, and lean manufacturing.
Since 2023, Staffan has also served as a Strategy Advisor for Antler, mentoring tech startups around the globe on organizational growth and business strategy.
