Gurugram, Haryana, India, September 2025 — ACME Group has appointed Jitendra Agrawal as Chief Operating Officer, where he will lead the company’s solar manufacturing business from its headquarters in Gurugram. In this role, he will be responsible for driving operational excellence, scaling solar manufacturing capacity, and strengthening ACME’s leadership position in the renewable energy sector.
With nearly three decades of leadership experience, Jitendra brings a strong record of building businesses, delivering operational efficiency, and driving consumer-focused strategies across diverse industries. Most recently, he served as CEO of Lighting and Consumer Durables at SURYA Roshni Ltd., where he led business transformation and drove growth across product categories.
Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President at Luminous India – Schneider Electric, where he held P&L responsibility for the home electricals business, covering fans, lighting, switches, connected offers, stabilizers, and new product categories. Earlier, he served as Senior Vice President at Kurlon Enterprise Limited, managing end-to-end P&L responsibilities across sales, marketing, and operations.
Jitendra spent over 18 years with Philips Lighting, where he rose to the position of Senior Director for Professional Lighting in India. His tenure at Philips included leadership roles in sales, marketing, and business development, where he significantly contributed to strengthening the brand’s market position and expanding its portfolio in the country.
With his global exposure and proven ability to scale businesses, Jitendra is expected to accelerate ACME Group’s ambitious vision in green energy, particularly in solar manufacturing and sustainable energy solutions.
