Darlington, England, United Kingdom, September 2025 – Urszula White has stepped into the role of Head of People and Culture at Clive Owen LLP, bringing with her a strong foundation of progressive HR leadership and a deep commitment to organizational development, inclusion, and employee engagement. In her new role, she will be instrumental in shaping the firm’s people strategy and reinforcing its values-driven workplace culture.
Prior to joining Clive Owen LLP, Urszula White had an impactful 10-year tenure at Hiscox, where she held multiple senior HR roles. Most recently, she served as People Delivery Partner, contributing to key strategic initiatives such as Job Architecture, Organisational Design, Workforce Planning, and Reverse Mentoring. She also previously served as Head of HR on a maternity cover assignment, reporting directly to the People Director and CEO of London Market. In this capacity, she led crucial people initiatives in Talent, DEI, Engagement, and Organisational Design, and was a key member of the Leadership Team. Her earlier roles included HR Business Partner, where she played an active part in business alignment, and HR Advisor, where she partnered with senior leaders to enhance operational and employee effectiveness.
Before joining Hiscox, she served as HR Advisor & Administration Manager at Archbishop Holgate’s School in York for over three years, managing a team of five and supporting over 100 staff members. She led the administration of a large secondary school and sixth form, handling everything from event coordination to HR policy implementation and employee relations.
Her combined experience across corporate, education, and service-driven environments reflects a versatile and inclusive HR leadership style that will support Clive Owen LLP’s commitment to excellence and people-centricity.
