Denver, Colorado, United States, September 2025 — INKY Technology has appointed Kathreen B. as Head of People Operations, where she will lead the company’s global people strategy, encompassing benefits, HRIS, compliance, employee lifecycle, and financial operations alignment. With more than 15 years of diverse experience across HR, operations, and finance, she brings a unique blend of analytical precision, process optimization, and people-first leadership to the role.
Kathreen has been part of INKY since 2024, most recently serving as HR Benefits Administrator and FinOps Analyst, where she successfully integrated benefits administration with financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. During her tenure, she strengthened audit readiness, optimized benefits delivery, and enhanced organizational agility by bridging HR and finance functions. Her ability to combine compliance rigor with empathy for employees has made her a trusted partner within the company.
Alongside her work at INKY, Kathreen has continued to operate KathreenB Consulting, her independent practice since 2021, providing expertise in HR, payroll, benefits, HRIS, and operations to startups and mid-sized organizations. Her consulting portfolio highlights her adaptability and her capability to design scalable people systems tailored to dynamic business environments.
Previously, Kathreen spent nearly three years at CataBoom as HR and Operations Analyst and Project Manager, where she implemented HRIS tools, streamlined recruiting and onboarding processes, and partnered with compliance and security teams to support AWS audits. She introduced analytics-driven improvements in recruitment and exit interviews, contributing to higher retention and stronger employee experience.
At White Rabbit Intel, she served as Operations Manager, overseeing HR, recruiting, payroll, and benefits while also managing budgets and compliance in a fast-paced technology environment. She was instrumental in promoting a culture of accountability, growth, and high morale while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Before this, as Executive Assistant and Public Relations Specialist at Lotus Fiduciary Group, she managed client onboarding, estate documentation, office operations, and communications, building strong foundations in regulated environments.
Earlier, Kathreen served as HR and Operations Analyst at ThinkTank Collective Intelligence Software, where she managed HRIS, payroll, and AR/AP processes while coordinating with finance and IT functions. At ProofHQ, later acquired by Workfront, she contributed as Business Analyst and HR Specialist, managing contracts, HR operations, and people programs through a major acquisition. Her tenure at External IT as Technical Account Manager strengthened her client-facing and systems integration skills, managing more than 40 enterprise accounts and aligning operations with client needs.
Her career also includes experience as Business Administration Analyst at Adgile, where she streamlined contracts and finance reporting; Contact Center Administrator at RealPage, where she coordinated communications, KPIs, and employee incentives; and Executive Administrative Assistant and Business Analyst at HRsmart, where she progressed from administrative support to directly assisting the CFO with financial analysis, contracts, and business operations.
Beyond corporate roles, Kathreen dedicated significant time as Relay for Life Chair and Volunteer for the American Cancer Society, leading fundraising, team development, and community engagement initiatives that demonstrated her leadership beyond the workplace. Earlier in her journey, she worked at The University of Texas at Dallas as Student Union Manager, where she supervised staff, scheduled events, and drove improvements in student services.
Her career foundation was built through her role at Lotus Fiduciary Group, her work in operational analysis and HR consulting, and her continuous focus on systems, compliance, and people practices. Across every role, she has demonstrated a commitment to aligning people operations with organizational strategy while championing a culture of transparency, accountability, and engagement.
