Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 – Mahindra and Mahindra Limited [Automotive and Farm Equipment Business] has announced the appointment of Abhishikta Das as Vice President – Human Resources, Automotive Business. In her new role, she will lead HR strategy for the automotive division, driving talent management, organizational transformation, and workforce engagement as Mahindra continues to strengthen its global mobility and farm equipment leadership.
Abhishikta most recently served as Regional HR Director, South Asia at Reckitt, where she spearheaded the HR transformational agenda across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. She led multi-geography, cross-cultural teams while shaping future-ready talent strategies, optimizing organizational design, and driving cultural integration.
Previously, she worked with The Hershey Company for over five years in leadership roles. As HR Director for India and AEMEA (Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Europe), she developed global sourcing and succession strategies and led transformative change across dispersed international teams. Earlier, as HR Director for Hershey India, she executed a three-year operating HR strategy to support ambitious growth through targeted hiring, digitized capability building, and optimized compensation structures.
Her earlier career includes over 12 years with Colgate-Palmolive, where she held diverse HR leadership roles. These included Head HR – Commercial for India, Regional Lead for Change Management for HR 2020 Asia, Lead for Talent Management and OD, and Country HR Manager for Vietnam. She also served as Regional Lead for Latin America in Global Compensation, and HR Lead for Change Management at the Center of Business Services in Mumbai and Mexico. Beginning her career as a Management Trainee at Colgate, she advanced through positions of increasing responsibility, including L&D leadership, HR business partnering, and plant HR leadership.
Abhishikta holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), where she also served as General Secretary of the student body.
