Emily Xiao Appointed as Head of Talent Acquisition and Business Partner at Generali Hong Kong

Hong Kong SAR, September 2025 – Generali Hong Kong has appointed Emily Xiao as Head of Talent Acquisition and Business Partner. In her new role, Emily will support the local business, Asia Regional Office, and the Global Corporate & Commercial team, driving the talent strategy and partnering closely with leadership to foster a high-performing culture while aligning hiring strategies with business priorities and sustainability goals.

Emily most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources at Charterhouse Asia, where she led people strategy and operations for nearly two years, focusing on organizational growth and employee engagement.

Prior to that, she worked at KPMG China as Head of Strategic Talent Consulting – Change Management and Performance Improvement, where over almost four years she drove consulting initiatives on performance and transformation strategies for large-scale organizations across Shenzhen and beyond.

Earlier in her career, she took on the role of Business Director at a startup recruitment firm for over two years, after building her expertise in executive search and recruitment with Korn Ferry as an Associate, and as a Manager of HR Recruitment at Lloyd Morgan China. She also worked as a Senior Consultant – Human Resources at both Robert Walters and Michael Page, specializing in senior-level HR recruitment across Southern China.

Emily began her professional journey as a Marketing Supervisor at Global Sources, where she managed and executed large-scale trade show campaigns to support sales and industry outreach.
