Michael has been associated with Spacemilk since September 2024, initially joining as Head of Partnerships, where he played a crucial role in driving collaborative growth initiatives and shaping the brand’s go-to-market alliances. His transition to the Chief Marketing Officer role reflects his strategic acumen and contributions to the company’s mission of redefining food systems for planetary and human health.
Prior to his journey with Spacemilk, Michael Astorino served as Chief Executive Officer at Xtra Point Solutions (XPS), where he provided leadership in sports technology and strategic consulting. As a co-founder of XPS, he was instrumental in scaling the business and managing its long-term vision from inception through to operational maturity.
Michael has also been deeply engaged with academic entrepreneurship, having co-founded and instructed the Wesleyan Shark Tank initiative, an experiential learning platform for students. His roles at Wesleyan included serving as Head of Media for the Men’s Basketball team, where he applied his creative and marketing talents to elevate the program’s media presence.
In addition, Michael completed high-impact internships with RRE Ventures and Shark Tank ABC, gaining exposure to the worlds of venture capital and media production. His well-rounded experience across marketing, partnerships, content creation, and entrepreneurship positions him well to drive Spacemilk’s brand narrative and market leadership in the alternative protein segment.
