Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 – Myntra, India’s leading fashion, lifestyle, and beauty platform, has announced the appointment of Kannan Ganesan as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A seasoned finance leader with over two decades of experience, Kannan brings a strong foundation in business finance, strategic planning, and financial governance across top global and Indian organizations.
In his new role, Kannan will be responsible for driving Myntra’s financial strategy, strengthening fiscal operations, and ensuring scalable growth in alignment with the company’s vision to blend style, technology, and innovation in India’s dynamic fashion ecosystem.
Prior to his appointment at Myntra, Kannan Ganesan served as Vice President – Business Finance at Flipkart, where he spent more than five years leading strategic finance initiatives across the company’s sales and customer development functions. His financial leadership at Flipkart played a key role in optimizing profitability, enhancing process efficiency, and enabling data-driven business decisions within India’s largest e-commerce ecosystem.
Before Flipkart, Kannan spent nearly 14 years at Unilever and Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), holding diverse global and regional finance leadership roles. At Unilever, he served as Director – Financial Controls, Manager – Corporate Audit, and Manager – Reporting and Analytics for Asia, AMET, and Europe, where he drove global finance transformation and audit excellence initiatives from Singapore and New Jersey.
During his tenure at Hindustan Unilever, Kannan held pivotal roles including Regional Finance Manager – South, FP&A Manager – Home and Personal Care, and Factory Commercial Manager. He was instrumental in developing financial governance models, driving operational efficiencies, and supporting business expansion across multiple geographies. His early years at HUL as a Business Leadership Trainee provided him with comprehensive exposure to business finance and strategy.
Kannan began his professional journey at PKF Sridhar & Santhanam as an Article Clerk, where he honed his foundation in auditing, compliance, and financial reporting—skills that have underpinned his strategic leadership across subsequent roles.
