Nashville, Tennessee, United States, November 2025 — Carleen Cunio has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources, US at MARQ Labs, bringing with her over two decades of extensive HR leadership experience across global financial services, healthcare, and consumer industries. In her new role, Carleen will lead HR strategy, workforce development, people operations, and organizational culture for MARQ Labs’ U.S. operations as the company continues to expand its footprint in beauty and personal care innovation.
Carleen joins MARQ Labs from UBS, where she spent over seven years in progressive HR leadership roles. Most recently, as Director – Human Resources, HR Service Delivery, she managed teams spanning 10 countries across the Americas and led the integration of major acquisition programs across Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Prior to this, she served as Director, HR Advisory – Americas Region, overseeing complex HR case management and organizational workforce transitions.
Before her tenure at UBS, Carleen served as a Human Resources Business Partner at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she led employee engagement, culture-building, and people development initiatives within research and academic divisions. Her work resulted in measurable improvements in employee satisfaction and workforce participation.
Earlier in her career, Carleen spent nearly thirteen years at PepsiCo, serving as Regional Senior Human Resources Manager for Production & Warehouse operations across California and Tennessee. She supported both union and non-union environments and led HR practices for over 1,000 employees across multiple facilities.
Carleen’s foundation in strategic people leadership has been shaped by her experience across diverse organizational cultures and business environments, enabling her to drive HR strategies that are aligned with business performance, employee well-being, and organizational growth. Her leadership at MARQ Labs is expected to strengthen talent development, cultural momentum, and people-centered business practices.
