Pune, Maharashtra, India, May 2025 — Arit Kumar Das has joined WeiKFiELD Foods Pvt Ltd as Head – Digital Transformation & Information Technology, bringing with him over two decades of experience driving digital transformation and IT leadership across top FMCG and consumer goods companies.
In his new role at WeiKFiELD, Arit Kumar Das will spearhead the company’s digital journey across all business verticals, focusing on enhancing operational agility, building robust digital infrastructure, and accelerating data-driven decision making. His mandate includes overseeing SAP ERP, non-SAP applications, data warehousing, Power BI-driven analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud computing solutions to drive enterprise-wide digital transformation.
Prior to joining WeiKFiELD, Arit held senior leadership positions at companies such as AWL Agri Business Limited (Adani Wilmar), VEGA, ITC Infotech, PepsiCo, and Amway India, where he consistently delivered impactful digital solutions and optimized IT ecosystems for large-scale operations. At Adani Wilmar, he played a pivotal role in managing sales IT operations, driving cloud and mobile technology adoption, and enabling data-led business insights across India’s FMCG landscape.
His tenure at ITC Limited and ITC Infotech was especially notable for leading end-to-end sales force automation projects, business continuity initiatives, and strategic IT management across multiple business units. At PepsiCo, Arit managed critical IT infrastructure implementation and ERP projects, further establishing his expertise in enterprise-level technology operations.
With deep knowledge of IT governance, enterprise application management, data analytics, and cybersecurity, Arit Kumar Das brings a strategic and forward-thinking approach to WeiKFiELD at a time when the company continues to expand its global presence and portfolio of over 50 products across desserts, sauces, organic teas, pastas, and more.
His appointment is expected to strengthen WeiKFiELD’s digital transformation roadmap and empower the organization to further enhance efficiency, innovation, and customer experience.
