In her new role, Anna will lead the company’s operational strategy, focusing on strengthening performance, service quality, and customer experience. Before joining Kangaroo Bus Lines, Anna Tyben served as General Manager – Queensland at ComfortDelGro Australia (CDC), one of the nation’s largest transport operators. Over a span of more than three years, she led statewide operations, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance across a vast network of services. Her leadership played a key role in strengthening CDC’s regional footprint and operational standards.
Previously, Anna spent over 12 years with Latrobe Valley Bus Lines (LVBL), where she served as General Manager. At LVBL, she oversaw a team of more than 120 employees, championing safety, accessibility, and service reliability. Under her leadership, the company maintained its reputation for operational excellence and strong community partnerships within the Victorian transport landscape.
Beyond her executive roles, Anna has been deeply involved in the broader transport community. She has served as a Board Member for the Bus Association Victoria, the Queensland Bus Industry Council, and Latrobe Women in Business, where she has advocated for industry advancement, inclusion, and leadership development—particularly for women in transport.
Her passion for leadership extends beyond her professional life—Anna is also an instructor at the German Shepherd Dog Club, where she trains and competes in obedience and IPO competitions, reflecting her commitment to discipline, teamwork, and excellence in every pursuit.
