Neelam Dhawan Appointed as Chairperson of the Board at Delhivery

Gurugram, Haryana, India, March 2026 – Delhivery has announced the appointment of Neelam Dhawan as Chairperson of the Board of Directors, marking a significant milestone in the company’s governance and leadership journey.

The announcement was shared by Sahil Barua, Chief Executive Officer at Delhivery, who also expressed gratitude to Deepak Kapoor for his long-standing leadership and guidance in shaping the company since its early days.

Neelam Dhawan, a highly respected business leader and boardroom veteran, brings extensive experience across global technology, consumer, and financial services organizations. Her appointment reinforces Delhivery’s commitment to strengthening strategic oversight and driving long-term value creation.

Neelam currently serves as Chairperson of the Board at Ather Energy Limited and Capillary Technologies, while also holding board positions at Tech Mahindra, Hindustan Unilever Limited, and Capita Plc. Her extensive governance experience spans multiple industries and geographies.

She has also served as a Board Member at ICICI Bank, Yatra Online Inc., IIIT Delhi, and Skylo Technologies, and earlier contributed as a Supervisory Board Member at Philips, reflecting her strong global leadership footprint.

In her executive career, Neelam held leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where she served as Managing Director – India and later as VP, Global Industries, Strategic Alliances and Inside Sales – Asia Pacific and Japan, driving growth across multiple industry verticals and global accounts.

Earlier, she served as Managing Director – India at HP and Microsoft, where she played a pivotal role in expanding business operations and strengthening market presence in India. She began her career with leadership roles at Compaq, IBM, and HCL Hewlett Packard, building a strong foundation in sales, marketing, and technology leadership.

Neelam Dhawan holds an MBA in Marketing from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, one of India’s premier management institutions.
