In this pivotal position, he will lead digital transformation, enterprise technology strategy, and innovation initiatives across Saint-Gobain’s glass business, driving operational efficiency, automation, and next-generation digital capabilities.
With a proven track record of building scalable technology ecosystems, Vijay brings deep expertise in digital architecture, cloud modernization, Industry 4.0 integration, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT leadership. His role will be central to strengthening Saint-Gobain’s digital backbone and accelerating adoption of future-ready technologies across manufacturing, supply chain, customer experience, and global operations.
In his journey with Kaleesuwari Refinery Private Limited, Vijay served as Vice President – Information Technology, where he led transformation initiatives across manufacturing, retail, IoT-driven automation, cloud modernization, and AI-enabled analytics. His contributions included building the digital foundation for a new retail business, enabling smart manufacturing systems, implementing SAP automation layers, and advancing enterprise-wide cybersecurity frameworks.
Before that, at TVS Supply Chain Solutions, he spearheaded large-scale transformation as Senior General Manager – Information Technology, modernizing IT infrastructure and integrating AI, automation, and real-time logistics visibility into critical operations. In his earlier role as Technical Center Head at White Data Systems, he led platform engineering and built high-performance technology organizations driving innovation across IoT, microservices, cloud, and digital logistics platforms.
Vijay’s global exposure also includes his extensive contributions at TVS Supply Chain Solutions (UK & Europe) as Head IT – New Technologies, where he deployed AI-powered analytics, RFID automation, geospatial intelligence, and cloud-native systems across supply chain operations. His career began with impactful roles at Smollan, SAP, and Hindustan Lever Limited, where he developed strong foundations in enterprise systems, digital transformation, and IT leadership, shaping his holistic approach to technology management.
