Arizona, United States, November 2025 — Emma Piazza has stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer at the Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA), marking a significant advancement in her leadership journey within Arizona’s small-business ecosystem. In this role, Piazza will help drive statewide impact by strengthening programs, deepening community engagement, and advancing ASBA’s mission of empowering businesses with fewer than 500 employees across the region.
Piazza’s elevation to Chief Operating Officer follows nearly seven years of progressive leadership at the Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA). Most recently, she served as Sr. Vice President of Programs for about two years and eight months, where she directed statewide program strategies and strengthened ASBA’s capability to support small businesses. Prior to this, she contributed as Director of Program Development for approximately one and a half years, leading program design, development, and innovation efforts in Phoenix and the broader Arizona region.
Before taking on program development responsibilities, Piazza served as Business Relations Manager for close to three years, where she strengthened partnerships, community connections, and member engagement across Phoenix. In this role, she deepened her expertise in stakeholder collaboration, relationship management, and small-business advocacy.
Earlier in her career, Piazza spent over three years with Wildflower Bread Company as Shift Lead, where she developed foundational leadership skills, team coordination capabilities, and frontline operational experience that shaped her early professional journey.
Across her career, Piazza has built strong capabilities in project planning, project management, program development, grant administration, grant writing, and team leadership—experience that positions her to make a significant impact as Chief Operating Officer at ASBA.
