Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 — Samsung Ads India has announced the appointment of Vignesh V as Director, Ad Sales, marking a strategic addition to its leadership team as the company expands its presence in the Connected TV (CTV) and digital advertising ecosystem. With over two decades of experience across media, entertainment, and technology, Vignesh brings extensive expertise in media sales, revenue strategy, syndication, and strategic partnerships, gained through impactful tenures at JioStar, The Walt Disney Company, Star Sports, Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon, NDTV, Zee Entertainment, Radio Mirchi, and ICICI Bank.
Before joining Samsung Ads India, Vignesh served as Senior Vice President at JioStar, where he led Digital and Television Ad Sales, Global Syndication, and International Distribution for JioCinema and Sports18. His leadership in integrating cross-screen monetization and global partnership models helped strengthen the platform’s international presence.
Earlier, at The Walt Disney Company and Star Sports, Vignesh played dual roles leading GTM and Revenue Management for Sirius—a cross-screen ad sales vertical spanning Hotstar and television—and Revenue & Product Strategy for Star Sports India. Under his stewardship, the network achieved record-breaking sales performance through innovative brand solutions, P&L management, and the development of high-value sponsorship assets across marquee sports properties such as the ICC World Cup, Pro Kabaddi League, and Indian Super League Football.
His previous tenure at Amazon as Strategic Partnerships Lead saw him build impactful collaborations with brands like ITC Foods, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and MakeMyTrip, leveraging data-driven marketing to deliver measurable value across FMCG, travel, and consumer tech sectors. Across his earlier roles with NDTV, Zee Entertainment, and Radio Mirchi, he consistently pioneered revenue innovations and market growth strategies.
As Director, Ad Sales at Samsung Ads India, Vignesh will lead the company’s advertising strategy for Connected TV and cross-platform media, expanding brand partnerships and driving data-led monetization models across markets. His strategic vision and multi-market experience are expected to further strengthen Samsung Ads’ position as a global leader in the advanced TV ecosystem.
