In this newly assumed mandate, he will drive business strategy, operations, growth channels, and innovation to accelerate the company’s next phase of nationwide and global expansion.
Before joining YesMadam, Goutham served as Chief Operating Officer at Sharda Tech, where he led digital transformation, institutional scaling, and employability-driven education initiatives across approximately 17,000 students and 16 academic schools. His role supported large-scale capability-building programs, industry partnerships, and AI-driven curriculum alignment. His leadership extended across technology, business development, workforce readiness, and enterprise learning ecosystems.
Prior to Sharda Tech, Goutham gained extensive experience at upGrad, where he worked across roles including Associate Director, Senior Category Manager, and senior-level business and GTM roles. His tenure included launching multiple Bootcamps, executing P&L ownership for high-value programs, establishing global partnerships with leading universities, driving cross-functional collaboration, and scaling technology program portfolios with measurable learner and business outcomes.
Earlier, Goutham worked with organisations including WhiteHat Jr, Visionet Systems, HungerBox, Housejoy, and thebeards.in, strengthening his expertise across growth management, supply chain transformation, consumer engagement, sales operations, entrepreneurial scaling, retention strategy, vendor relationships, and strategic alliances. His collective experience during this period reflects an integrated understanding of product-market fit, operational efficiency, business building, and market adoption across offline and online ecosystems.
Before transitioning into the technology and consumer sector, Goutham began his career as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger, working across high-complexity field projects with major energy clients including ONGC, Oil India, and Cairn. His early professional journey included exposure to technical execution, risk management, operations excellence, engineering workflow optimisation, and structured problem-solving frameworks.
