Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2025 — Vikas Kumar has started a new position as Director, Global Talent Acquisition – Europe & AMEA at Avantor. In this expanded leadership role, he is expected to strengthen talent acquisition strategy and execution across a wider international footprint, building on his strong track record in leading regional and global hiring charters within the organization.
Vikas Kumar has spent about seven years with Avantor, steadily growing into larger, multi-market leadership responsibilities. Most recently, he served as Global Talent Acquisition Leader – Asia, Middle East and Africa, where he spearheaded talent acquisition across 18 countries, supporting diverse business needs across sales, manufacturing, corporate functions, and global capability centers. His elevation to Director, Global Talent Acquisition – Europe & AMEA marks a significant step in his continued leadership progression within the organization.
Before joining Avantor, he served briefly as Deputy General Manager – Employer Branding at Lava International Limited, where he led employer branding and campus/university hiring across key verticals.
Earlier, he spent about four years with GlobalLogic as Manager Talent Acquisition, where he led product development hiring in India and established a talent branding and social media hiring COE. His role also extended into global employer branding initiatives, shaping EVP and candidate experience programs.
He also built a strong foundation over about four years at Aon, managing hiring for IT, leadership, HR consulting, and niche roles in India. Alongside this, he played a key role in building early employment brand and social media hiring strategy for the organization.
In the earlier phase of his career, he worked across technology recruiting and talent acquisition roles with RAMPgreen, iGATE Global Solutions, and APN Software Services, building deep experience in end-to-end hiring and team-led recruitment operations.
Vikas Kumar holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Indraprastha Engineering College. He also completed an MBA in HR from the Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning.
