Zurich, Switzerland, April 2026 — SWAROVSKI has announced the appointment of Ilse Roeffen as President Europe, marking a significant leadership elevation within the organization as it continues to strengthen its global luxury positioning and regional growth strategy.
Ilse steps into this role following two impactful assignments that shaped her leadership journey — serving as ad interim Chief Commercial Officer and undertaking a strategic assignment in Greater China to support leadership onboarding and market alignment. Reflecting on her journey, she acknowledged the strong collaboration across the Commercial Leadership Team and General Managers, emphasizing the collective effort behind this milestone.
Ilse brings over two decades of leadership experience at SWAROVSKI, having built a distinguished career across commercial strategy, transformation, and global market leadership. Most recently, she served as Head of Emerging Markets & Businesses, where she was responsible for driving long-term, sustainable growth across multiple global regions, including Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, while leading a team of over 2,500 professionals.
She also held the role of Chief Commercial Officer (ad interim), where she led global commercial strategy across more than 150 markets, overseeing critical functions such as sales, retail, marketing, digital, and omnichannel operations, managing a global team of over 9,000 employees.
Earlier in her career, Ilse served as EVP Market Management and Senior Vice President Omnichannel & Commercial Management, where she played a pivotal role in driving customer-centric strategies, digital transformation, and omnichannel excellence, strengthening Swarovski’s positioning as a global luxury brand. Her contributions also include leading global business transformation programs, shaping operating models, and enabling organizational effectiveness at scale.
Her long-standing tenure reflects a deep understanding of luxury retail, global markets, and customer experience transformation, making her well-positioned to lead the European business into its next phase of growth.
