Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — Meta Materials Circular Markets (MMCM), India’s pioneering circular economy solutions platform, today announced the appointment of Prasad S. Shetty as Chief Financial Officer.
Shetty is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over 13 years of experience spanning finance, financial strategy, taxation, governance, financial controls, and business partnering across different industries.
Prior to joining MMCM, he was Associate Director – Finance at Freight Tiger, a Tata Motors-backed logistics technology startup, where he was part of the senior finance leadership team, working closely with business and finance leadership on financial planning, management reporting, taxation, working capital, governance and process improvements.
Before that, at BARC India, he managed taxation, financial reporting, and audits while strengthening financial controls and operational efficiency. At Allcargo Logistics, he played a key role in the group-wide GST implementation, including compliance framework design, tax process transformation and nationwide rollout.
Shetty’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for MMCM, which has exemplified its commitment to building sustainable financial discipline, robust governance, and long-term value creation in India’s circular economy market. As the company continues to scale its footprint across carbon credits, EPR frameworks, and digital MRV systems, Shetty’s move marks a key step in strengthening the leadership needed to support its next phase of growth.
