Josh’s appointment marks the next milestone in a successful leadership journey with Metricon. Since joining the company in February 2020 as State Sales Manager, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening Metricon’s market presence across Queensland. Throughout his tenure, he has built trusted relationships with customers, builder partners, developers, and key stakeholders while leading high-performing sales teams and delivering consistent business growth. His leadership has contributed significantly to Metricon’s continued success in one of Australia’s most competitive residential construction markets, making him a natural choice to lead the Queensland business.

Prior to joining Metricon, Josh served as State Sales & Marketing Manager at Plantation Homes Queensland, where he led statewide sales and marketing strategies to strengthen market positioning and customer engagement. Earlier, he spent more than nine years with Porter Davis, progressing through several senior leadership positions including State Manager – Queensland, General Manager – Land & Development, and House & Land Manager. During this period, he was instrumental in driving residential growth strategies, expanding land development opportunities, strengthening builder partnerships, and delivering commercial success across Queensland.

Earlier in his career, Josh built a strong commercial foundation with the Reece Group, where he spent more than four years in leadership and business development roles, including State Manager – Reece Onsite for Victoria and South Australia, as well as Business Development Manager. He began his professional journey with Rinnai Australia as Business Development Manager, where he developed extensive expertise in sales, customer relationship management, and business development within the building products sector.

With more than 17 years of leadership experience spanning residential construction, sales leadership, business development, land development, and customer engagement, Josh has earned a strong reputation for building high-performing teams and delivering sustainable business growth. His appointment reflects Metricon’s commitment to developing internal leadership talent while continuing to strengthen its position as Australia’s leading residential home builder.
