Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — BESTSELLER India has announced the appointment of Ashish Khandelwal as its Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its footprint and scale operations across India.
With over 15 years of experience, Ashish brings a future-focused and data-driven approach to finance, with deep expertise in building scalable business models, enabling growth, and driving financial transformation. His appointment aligns with BESTSELLER India’s strategic focus on strengthening financial planning and accelerating sustainable growth in a competitive retail landscape.
Prior to joining BESTSELLER India, Ashish served as Chief Financial Officer (India) – Ecommerce, Wholesale & New Business at Decathlon, where he led financial strategy across India’s omnichannel ecosystem. In this role, he held P&L ownership across multiple business units, including e-commerce, wholesale, and marketplace operations, while also supporting product and technology roadmaps, new business models, and digital growth initiatives. His work in integrating financial controls across physical and digital platforms enabled a unified view of profitability and operational efficiency.
Before Decathlon, Ashish held leadership roles at EY and Amazon, gaining strong exposure to audit, fintech accounting, regulatory frameworks, and financial governance. At Amazon, he was part of the India Payments Controllership team, handling complex accounting structures and regulatory compliance in the evolving digital payments ecosystem.
He also spent over a decade at PwC India, where he progressed to Associate Director, leading large, multi-location audit engagements across industries including retail, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. During this period, he built deep expertise in IFRS, Ind AS, SOX compliance, and financial reporting, while working closely with senior leadership and boards on complex financial and governance matters.
