Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2026 — Nipun Jain has been promoted to the role of Senior Director – Business Management at Razorpay Rize, marking another significant milestone in his journey with Razorpay. The promotion reflects his impactful contributions to Razorpay’s startup ecosystem initiatives and his role in building and scaling innovative programs designed to support India’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
Nipun has been associated with Razorpay for more than three years and has played a pivotal role in the growth of Razorpay Rize, the company’s startup-focused platform. Prior to his promotion, he served as Director of Business Management – Razorpay Rize, where he led business strategy, product development, go-to-market initiatives, partnerships, and community-building efforts. During this period, he helped strengthen startup acquisition and retention through innovative engagement strategies while contributing to the broader startup ecosystem in India.
Before becoming Director, Nipun served as Associate Director – Razorpay Rize, where he was instrumental in building the platform from the ground up and helping establish it as one of India’s most recognized startup support programs. Under his leadership, Razorpay Rize launched several founder-focused initiatives and developed a strong community of early-stage entrepreneurs across multiple sectors.
Alongside his corporate responsibilities, Nipun is also an active Private Investor, supporting emerging startups through angel investments. He is additionally associated with the School of Human Intelligence as a Storyteller and Mentor, where he shares insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, human intelligence, and personal growth. Over the years, he has spoken at platforms including TEDx, Startup India, IIT Delhi, ISB, Christ University, and several entrepreneurial forums.
Prior to joining Razorpay, Nipun held leadership roles at Pickrr, where he served as Associate Vice President – Business & Growth and Entrepreneur in Residence – Growth & Strategic Partnerships. He contributed to enterprise growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, and business expansion efforts during a transformative period for the company, including its acquisition by Shiprocket.
Earlier in his career, he founded and led Natty Niños, a successful children-focused services and events venture, where he spent several years building and scaling the business. His entrepreneurial experience, combined with roles at Outline India and Max Life Insurance, provided him with a diverse foundation across business strategy, operations, customer engagement, research, and growth leadership.
