Singapore, June 2026 — Poojyata Khattar has been promoted to Vice President, Head of Issuing Solutions Value Added Services (VAS), Asia Pacific at Visa. In her new role, she will lead Visa’s regional Issuing VAS portfolio across Asia Pacific, focusing on helping banks, issuers, and partners grow and differentiate through data-driven insights, digital capabilities, loyalty solutions, network capabilities, and platforms such as Pismo, which are redefining modern issuing infrastructure.
A versatile business leader, Poojyata brings strong expertise across product strategy, business development, strategic partnerships, go-to-market execution, digital payments, fintech partnerships, and operations. Her expanded leadership role comes at a time when Visa continues to strengthen its digital payments ecosystem and value-added services capabilities across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to this promotion, Poojyata served as Head of Product and Solutions, Regional Southeast Asia at Visa, where she developed product strategy, provided thought leadership, and built long-term growth plans for Visa’s product proposition across the region. Her work contributed to advancing Visa’s digital payment capabilities and strengthening product-led growth in Southeast Asia.
Before this, she held multiple leadership roles within Visa, including Senior Director, Head of Global Digital & Fintech Partners, Asia Pacific, Global Accounts Lead, Digital Partnerships & Fintechs, Accounts Director, Digital Partnerships & Fintechs, and Director, Program Management, Digital Partnerships. Across these roles, she led strategic digital and fintech partner relationships, managed commercial deals, supported new market and product launches, and helped launch and scale Visa’s Fintech Fast Track program in Asia Pacific.
Earlier in her career, Poojyata worked with PayPal, where she served as Regional Lead, PayPal Protection Programs, APAC and previously as Sales Strategy & Programs Manager, APAC Merchant Services. In these roles, she focused on scaling protection programs, driving regional sales strategy, supporting go-to-market execution, and leading post-M&A sales enablement and operations for Braintree and PayPal across Asia Pacific.
She also served as Director, Strategy & Chief of Staff to the CEO at Delhivery, contributing to strategic initiatives and business growth. Her early professional journey includes experience with The D. E. Shaw Group, where she worked across private equity advisory, analysis, research, and investment-related functions in India.
Poojyata’s promotion reflects Visa’s confidence in her leadership and her ability to drive innovation-led growth across issuing solutions and value-added services. Her experience across global payments, fintech ecosystems, strategy, and partnerships positions her well to shape Visa’s next phase of issuing innovation across Asia Pacific.
