Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 – Mahathi Parashuram has joined Novonesis as Head of Public Affairs & Communications for the Middle East, India & Africa (MEIA) region. In this influential leadership role, Mahathi will drive strategic communication, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and brand advocacy across the MEIA region, leveraging Novonesis’ global vision of transforming the world with biology.
Before joining Novonesis, Mahathi Parashuram founded and led CorpCred Consulting, where she served as Chief Consultant throughout 2025. Her consultancy focused on building high-impact communication strategies, public and government affairs frameworks, CSR initiatives, and corporate reputation programs for a wide range of clients.
Prior to that, Mahathi had an impressive 11-year tenure at Grundfos, culminating in her role as Director of Public Relations (Global). She also served as Head of Global Public Relations, and earlier as Regional Head – Public Affairs, Communications & Engagement, Asia Pacific, where she built the public affairs and communications strategy across multiple countries and managed sustainability-driven narratives and thought leadership.
Earlier in her career, she was the Public Affairs Manager at Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd., where she spearheaded communication, CSR, crisis management, and advocacy for Dow’s operations in India. She also played a regional role as APAC Subject Matter Expert for CSR and supported several business units with tailored communication strategies.
Mahathi began her journey in the public relations industry at reputed agencies such as Genesis Burson-Marsteller, Hanmer & Partners, and 20:20 MEDIA, where she led communication efforts for leading tech and corporate clients including Accenture, Tesco HSC, Autodesk, Red Hat India, and HCL Technologies.
