Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – Apoorva Chawla has taken on a new role as Head – Global Talent Acquisition and HR – International Business at Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd. In this position, she will lead Parle’s global talent strategy and HR functions for its international business portfolio, driving transformation, capability-building, and leadership development to support the organization’s expansive growth across global markets.
Before joining Parle, Apoorva Chawla served as Director and Head – People Development and Business HR at Cohizon Life Sciences (formerly Sajjan India Ltd.) for over three years. In this role, she was instrumental in building the HR foundation from scratch, launching the Cohizon Academy of Excellence, implementing a structured band and grade framework, and driving succession planning and organization-wide transformation initiatives.
Previously, she spent nearly five years at Cipla, where she held several key roles including Associate Director, Lead – Talent and Learning and Senior Manager – HRBP for Global Supply Chain. Her work spanned capability building across regions, assessment centers for leadership, performance management, people analytics, and enabling structural shifts aligned with business strategy. She also served as Manager – HRBP, supporting operations in Goa.
Earlier in her career, she worked as Senior Associate Lead – BPHR at Infosys, leading HR operations, performance management, and engagement activities across multiple locations. She also held HR roles at Synapse Information Services, Usha International, and began her career as a sales and research intern at Business Standard, where she was recognized for her outstanding performance.
