Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, May 2024 – Anil Prasad Mohanty has joined DN Homes as the new Chief People Officer. Anil, a high-impact and analytics-driven seasoned HR evangelist, is known for devising innovative HR programs, establishing world-class business units, and bringing in transformations that complemented corporate strategies with leading organizations across India. In his new role, Anil will be heading the Human Resources & Administration function for DN Homes.
Before joining DN Homes, Anil served as the Head of People & Culture at Medikabazaar from September 2019 to February 2023. In this role, he was responsible for establishing a professional and tech-enabled HR and change management department in startup and expansion situations. Anil re-engineered the entire HR system in line with industry standards, created a culture of accountability and performance, and designed & implemented HR automation strategies. Additionally, he oversaw all people-related interventions including PMS, Assessment Centers, Manpower Planning, Change Management, Org Restructuring, Talent Management, Compensation Benchmarking, and Career Progression Planning.
Prior to Medikabazaar, Anil was the HR Head for Rural Segment Business – Pan India at Reliance JIO INFOCOMM UK LIMITED from August 2017 to September 2019. His responsibilities included building the North Region Team, hiring over 20,000 people, and implementing 7000 COCO stores within a year.
Anil also served as the HR Business Partner at Dy. General Manager – HR at Telenor from April 2009 to September 2012. At Telenor, he managed the operations & corporate affairs team across all circles, developed a succession plan, and was recognized for his contributions to the Uninor Shared Services Model and Employee Engagement Program.
Earlier in his career, Anil held various senior roles, including Head of HR for Service & Delivery Business at Huawei Telecommunications India Pvt Ltd from November 2008 to April 2009, Circle HR Head for Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh at Tata Teleservices from April 2007 to November 2008, and Sr. Manager – HR at Idea Cellular Ltd from September 1996 to April 2007.
