Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 – Stanley Lifestyles, India’s leading luxury lifestyle and furniture brand, has named Abhijeet Sonar as its new Chief Executive Officer. With a distinguished career spanning the luxury, design, and retail ecosystem, Abhijeet steps into this pivotal leadership role with a clear mission—to shape Stanley into a world-class luxury house that carries India’s craftsmanship legacy to global audiences.
In his role as CEO, Abhijeet will be responsible for spearheading the brand’s evolution across strategy, operations, retail experience, brand equity, and shareholder value. His leadership will center around three strategic pillars—purpose, people, and performance—as he looks to transform Stanley into a globally admired luxury icon rooted in storytelling, craftsmanship, and design excellence.
Prior to Stanley, Abhijeet Sonar served for over eight years at Hansgrohe Group, where he most recently held the position of Head of Marketing for India & SAARC Countries. In this role, he led brand transformation through high-impact campaigns, digital integration, and immersive customer experiences that drove significant revenue growth and strengthened brand equity across the region.
Earlier, Abhijeet was a senior marketing leader at Villeroy & Boch, where he revived a struggling India business by repositioning the brand and launching India’s first “House of Villeroy & Boch.” His leadership in building distribution, retail partnerships, and experience-driven marketing laid the foundation for sustained growth across South Asia.
Abhijeet has also held impactful roles at Audi Mumbai South, where he led CRM and acquisition strategies during the luxury brand’s India entry, and at THANKS. Luxury Lifestyle and Indage Restaurants, where he delivered double-digit growth through experiential branding and cultural positioning. His early career as Cabin Crew and Task Force Member with Jet Airways offered him global exposure to luxury hospitality and protocol, even being part of the presidential entourage for Bill Clinton’s India visit.
