New York City, New York, United States, December 2025 – Edith Clee has taken on the role of Head of People Experience at Marsh McLennan, where she now leads the firm’s People Strategy across its global HR Centers of Excellence. In this elevated mandate, she oversees critical areas such as workforce planning and analytics, leadership development and succession, inclusion and social impact, learning and mobility, early careers, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, HR services and HR M&A, with a focus on modernizing the colleague experience through technology, data and AI.
At Marsh McLennan, Edith Clee has played a pivotal role in shaping global people strategy, most recently as Head of HR Strategy, Analytics and Rewards and Head of HR Strategy. Over nearly five years in these leadership roles, she has helped steer strategic people initiatives around vibrant and inclusive culture, inspiring leadership, robust learning opportunities and a compelling employee value proposition, working closely with senior leaders and specialist teams to translate trends into impactful people initiatives.
Before moving into her current enterprise-wide role, Edith spent more than a decade at Mercer, also part of Marsh McLennan, where she grew from consultant to Partner, Career Business Leader. She led the Career Business in the East Market, managing a team of over 150 consultants and serving more than 800 clients across rewards, talent and transformation. Her tenure included full P&L accountability and a strong focus on driving both top- and bottom-line growth through services, products and digital implementations.
Earlier, Edith strengthened her expertise in rewards and total compensation through roles at Shire Pharmaceuticals as Senior Total Rewards Analyst and at Towers Perrin (now part of WTW) as Senior Compensation Associate. Across these positions she developed a deep grounding in reward frameworks, compensation design and analytic rigor that now informs her strategic HR leadership at scale.
