Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, December 2025 – Vikash Jhunjhunwala has been appointed as Chief Business Officer – Integrated Resources Management (IRM) Business at Adani Natural Resources, strengthening the leadership architecture of the Adani Group’s fast-growing natural resources platform. His appointment reinforces the organisation’s focus on disciplined execution, strong governance, and enterprise-wide alignment to support long-term sustainable growth.
In his new role, Vikash will lead the IRM Business vertical, enabling consistent performance across mining, metals, and resource trading operations while strengthening foundational capabilities that drive operational excellence and strategic resilience.
Vikash Jhunjhunwala has been associated with the Adani Group for over a decade, most recently serving as Chief Business Officer at Adani Enterprises Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in building and scaling large-scale natural resource and energy trading portfolios. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening supply chain governance, pricing strategy, risk management, and enterprise execution frameworks.
Prior to this, Vikash served as Head – Coal Procurement & Trade at GMR Group, where he led imported coal procurement, long-term supply contracting, pricing strategy, and market risk management across large infrastructure and power portfolios.
Earlier, he held the role of Associate General Manager (Marketing) at Adani Enterprises Ltd., managing energy coal sales contracts, pricing, negotiation strategies, and execution excellence. His earlier career also includes leadership roles at VISA Steel Limited and Indian Rayon Industries Ltd., building a strong foundation across marketing, finance, procurement, and operational analytics.
He holds a CFA qualification in Finance from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India, with specialization in Treasury Management.
