Santa Clara, California, United States, December 2025 – Sunny Madra has been appointed as Vice President – Hardware at NVIDIA, marking a significant leadership addition as the company continues to strengthen its global AI infrastructure and accelerated computing platforms. In his new role, he will lead next-generation hardware innovation supporting data center scale AI, enterprise computing, and advanced digital platforms.
Sunny Madra brings deep expertise in building and scaling global technology platforms. Prior to joining NVIDIA, he served as COO & President at Groq, where he led sales, global operations, supply chain and hardware platforms, playing a critical role in scaling GroqCloud and enabling enterprise AI inference adoption worldwide.
Before Groq, he was Vice President, Ford X at Ford Motor Company, where he led innovation accelerators, incubated next-generation businesses and forged strategic alliances with global technology leaders including Google and Amazon, driving Ford’s digital mobility and connected infrastructure strategy.
He earlier co-founded Autonomic, a pioneering open cloud platform for connected vehicles, which was later acquired by Ford. He also held senior leadership roles at Pivotal Software, leading data platforms, corporate development and M&A initiatives that enabled large-scale enterprise digital transformation.
Sunny is also a prolific angel investor and venture partner, supporting AI, cloud, mobility, fintech and deep-tech ventures globally.
