London, England, United Kingdom, December 2025 — Amanda Kemp has been promoted to the role of Director, HR Business Partner at BlackRock, taking on expanded leadership responsibility for partnering with technology, operations, global accounting, and product services functions to strengthen people strategy, workforce capability, and leadership alignment across the firm’s global platform.
In her current elevation at BlackRock, Amanda Kemp has built a strong career of over eight years with the organization, progressing through multiple senior HR leadership roles across investment, technology, and operations functions. Most recently, she served for over three years as Vice President, HR Business Partner – Tech & Ops, Global Accounting & Product Services, after earlier leading HR partnerships for the Investments division. In her new role as Director, HR Business Partner, she continues to play a critical role in enabling business transformation, leadership development, and workforce effectiveness across global business units.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Amanda spent close to eight years with Goldman Sachs, where she held the position of Vice President, HR Business Partner for Global Investment Research & Asset Management. In this role, she partnered closely with global leadership teams to address strategic workforce needs, performance management, leadership development, compensation cycles, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. Her tenure also included responsibility for experienced-hire recruiting across revenue divisions within securities and investment banking.
Earlier in her career, Amanda worked with Hays, where she served as Recruitment Consultant and later as an Experienced Hire Recruiter (Onsite at Goldman Sachs), managing hiring initiatives across fixed income, currencies, commodities, and equities functions, giving her deep exposure to financial services talent markets.
Across her career, Amanda has developed a reputation for being a trusted HR business partner in complex global financial environments, consistently contributing to leadership development, talent strategy, and organizational capability building across multiple geographies and business lines.
