Chico, California, United States, January 2026 — Tri Counties Bank has announced the appointment of Kristen Dominguez as Chief Human Resources Officer. In her new role, Dominguez will lead the bank’s enterprise-wide people strategy, organizational development, leadership capability building, workforce transformation, total rewards architecture, and culture integration across Tri Counties Bank’s multi-location operations throughout California.
Kristen Dominguez joins Tri Counties Bank as Chief Human Resources Officer, taking responsibility for shaping workforce strategy, strengthening leadership pipelines, embedding DEI practices, and advancing digital HR platforms aligned to the bank’s long-term growth roadmap.
Most recently, she served in senior HR leadership roles at Blue Diamond Growers, where she led Total Rewards, Talent, Learning & Development, and HR Operations, strengthening compensation frameworks, workforce analytics, talent pipelines and people systems across California-based operations.
Prior to this, Dominguez was Director – Total Rewards and Workforce Analytics at the University of Denver, where she oversaw compensation strategy, performance management, succession planning, people analytics and DEI programs for a workforce exceeding 5,000 employees.
Earlier in her career, she spent several years at Chipotle Mexican Grill, holding progressive leadership roles including Head of Compensation, HRIS & People Analytics, where she designed enterprise HRIS roadmaps, compensation architecture and analytics systems supporting tens of thousands of employees across multiple regions.
She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Denver.
