Jeddah, Makkah Region, Saudi Arabia, January 2026 – Petromin Corporation has announced the appointment of Abdullah Bokhari as OD & Talent Management Director. In this role, Bokhari will lead organization development and talent management priorities, with a focus on strengthening performance, capability building, engagement, and workforce readiness. His appointment builds on a strong track record in talent acquisition strategy, assessment centers, onboarding and internal academies, performance and career development programs, and compliance-led HR governance.
Before taking on his current role as OD & Talent Management Director at Petromin Corporation, Abdullah Bokhari served as HR Head – NMC for over a year. In this capacity, he drove end-to-end HR operations and strategic workforce outcomes, including local and overseas hiring strategy, hiring governance (time-to-hire and fulfillment), assessment center design, Saudization and diversity compliance, performance management, leadership coaching, engagement survey execution with focus groups, workload analysis, facilities oversight, casual labor contract management, and annual HR budgeting—while advising leadership on change implementation and continuous improvement.
Earlier, he spent time as Sr. Talent Management Manager at Petromin Corporation, based in Jeddah, where he owned key talent programs across the employee lifecycle. His scope included pre-boarding to post-boarding onboarding, orientation design and delivery, setting up internal academy programs (needs analysis through evaluation), handling training requests, running annual engagement surveys and action planning, and driving career development programs. He also managed the annual performance appraisal process, equipping business leaders with tools and methodology and reporting outcomes to senior management, while contributing to the design of the Talent Management module for Oracle ERP (performance management, career development, and succession planning).
Prior to that, Bokhari progressed through talent-focused roles at Petromin Corporation including Talent Management Manager and Internal Academies Manager, strengthening his work in learning ecosystems, capability building, and structured talent processes that support growth, retention, and performance.
Earlier in his career, Abdullah Bokhari spent over six years with Jabal Omar Development Co., where he served as Talent Management Senior Specialist and HR Specialist, working across L&D operations, performance management system development, training needs analysis, career development framework initiatives, program calendars, orientation delivery, post-training implementation follow-ups, vendor management, and performance appraisal administration, along with HR operations spanning benefits administration, employee records, policy and labor law communication, leave and documentation processes, investigations, and onboarding. He began his professional journey in a customer-facing role as Sales Executive at Mobily.
