Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2026 — Ashish Bansal has started a new chapter in his professional journey with his appointment as Head of Human Resources at Stashfin, where he will lead the organisation’s people and culture agenda as the company continues to scale its digital financial services platform across India.
In his current role at Stashfin, Ashish Bansal is responsible for driving end-to-end human resources strategy, strengthening leadership capability, building high-performance teams, and aligning people initiatives with the company’s growth ambitions in the fintech and lending ecosystem.
Prior to joining Stashfin, he served as Senior Director at Group Bayport, where he worked on strategic people initiatives supporting business transformation and organisational effectiveness.
Earlier, Ashish Bansal held the position of Vice President – Human Resources at BlueStone, leading the full spectrum of HR for a large, complex organisation spanning more than 260 company-operated retail outlets, manufacturing units, technology teams, and corporate functions, with a workforce of over 1,800 on-roll and 2,500+ off-roll employees.
Before BlueStone, he was Vice President & Head – Human Resources at Extramarks Education India Pvt. Ltd., where he led HR for a 3,500+ strong workforce across 22 locations and was part of the leadership team, additionally heading sales capability development at scale.
Earlier in his career, Ashish Bansal founded trueFOOD.online, gaining hands-on entrepreneurial experience, and held senior HR leadership roles at Times Internet (as Head HR at DineOut), Lava International, MobiKwik, and Info Edge India Ltd, where he managed large, diverse workforces across multiple businesses and geographies. He began his professional journey with Apollo Tyres Ltd, building a strong foundation in corporate and sales HR.
