Hyderabad, Telangana, India, January 2026 — PAG-led Sekhmet Pharmaventures has appointed Jitendra Jalan as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) as part of its leadership strengthening efforts to support the company’s next phase of global expansion and organisational transformation. In his new role, Jalan will lead the human resources agenda as Sekhmet Pharmaventures scales its operations and builds organisational capabilities aligned with its long-term growth strategy.
Prior to joining Sekhmet Pharmaventures, Jitendra Jalan served as Vice President – Human Resources at USV Private Limited, where he was associated for over six years. During this tenure, he headed HR across eight manufacturing plants in India along with corporate talent acquisition, overseeing a workforce of approximately 4,000 employees. His role supported a leading Indian pharmaceutical and consumer products organisation with strong domestic market leadership and exports to more than 65 countries.
Before USV, Jalan spent more than seven years with ACC Limited, part of Holcim, as General Manager – HR. At ACC, he led HR for the Technical Centre of Excellence and the Central Procurement division, supporting teams of top cement experts and large-scale procurement operations. His work included driving major organisational restructuring and change initiatives while maintaining employee engagement across 35 locations, and spearheading a strategic HR transformation at one of the world’s largest cement plants.
Earlier, Jitendra Jalan was associated with Endress+Hauser Group for over five years as Assistant General Manager – HR. In this role, he established core HR processes and policies, contributed to building a performance-oriented culture, and supported significant organisational growth through initiatives in performance management, leadership development, and workforce planning.
His early career includes close to five years with Astral Glass Private Limited as Manager – HR & Executive Assistant to the Chairman, where he gained broad exposure to business operations. His responsibilities spanned HR leadership, business process re-engineering, ERP implementation, talent acquisition for key functions, workforce training initiatives, and operational oversight at a large manufacturing plant.
