Pune, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 — Shilpa Sharma has taken on a new role as Head – HR at Fujitsu, marking a significant step in her career spanning global human resources leadership, HR business partnering, and workforce transformation.
In her new role, Shilpa will be responsible for leading Fujitsu’s HR strategy in India, with a focus on employee relations, talent management, performance management, workforce planning, and strengthening people practices aligned with the company’s business priorities.
Prior to joining Fujitsu, Shilpa served as HR Business Partner Leader – APJ at EDB, where she partnered closely with senior leadership and global People Partners to drive HR strategy, employee engagement, organizational development, compensation, and compliance across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region.
Before that, she was associated with Bentley Systems as HR Business Partner – India & SEA, where she led initiatives to streamline HR processes, enhance compliance across regions, deploy talent management programs, and strengthen onboarding and employee integration frameworks.
Shilpa also held the position of Human Resources Business Partner at Birlasoft, contributing to stakeholder management, retention frameworks, performance management processes, HR audits, and regional HR operations across APAC and MEA.
Earlier in her career, she spent over a decade with Tata Consultancy Services, where she worked across multiple HR roles including HR Business Partner and Overseas Recruiter – APAC. During this tenure, she played a key role in talent acquisition, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, succession planning, and HR effectiveness initiatives across geographies.
Shilpa began her professional journey with early experience at Forbes Marshall as an HR intern and previously worked as a Java Programmer at Compare Infobase Limited, giving her a unique blend of technical and people-centric expertise.
