Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, January 2026 — Priya Venkataraman has been appointed Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Bahwan CyberTek. In her new role, she will lead the advancement of the Group’s global HR strategy and administration services, with a focus on building scalable people practices that support business growth and transformation across Bahwan CyberTek’s services, consulting, and products businesses.
In this capacity, Priya Venkataraman will work closely with senior leadership to align talent, culture, and organisational priorities with enterprise goals, strengthening HR governance and people capabilities across geographies.
Prior to joining Bahwan CyberTek, she served as Senior Vice President – Human Resources at Indium, where she led the HR agenda for a high-growth digital engineering organisation with over 2,000 employees across India, the US, and the UK. During her tenure, she enabled significant business expansion while strengthening leadership stability, employee engagement, DEI outcomes, and enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives.
Before Indium, Priya Venkataraman held senior HR leadership roles at Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, where she served as Deputy General Manager, leading HR for large shared services and IS divisions comprising nearly 3,800 employees. Her role involved managing complex, multi-business HR operations and supporting large-scale organisational leadership.
Earlier in her career, she spent over seven years with Shell as Human Resources Account Manager, managing end-to-end HR responsibilities for large business divisions and partnering closely with leadership on employee engagement, performance management, and talent retention.
She has also held HR leadership and business partner roles at Standard Chartered Bank, Infosys, Ford Business Services, and GE Capital International Services (GECIS), building more than two decades of cross-industry HR experience spanning IT, automotive, oil & gas, banking, and global shared services environments.
Priya Venkataraman holds an Executive MBA in Human Resources Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and an MBA in Human Resources Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, further strengthening her strategic and academic grounding in people leadership.
