Hyderabad, Telangana, India, February 2026 — Vimalkumar Dayavathi has started a new role as Chief General Manager at Greenko Group, one of the world’s leading energy transition and decarbonization companies. In this expanded leadership position, he continues to drive large-scale HR transformation and strategic people initiatives supporting Greenko’s rapid growth in renewable energy and green molecule sectors.
Before this appointment, Vimalkumar Dayavathi served as Senior General Manager at Greenko Group, where he spearheaded enterprise HR transformation across corporate and business units. He led HR integration following five major acquisitions in India’s renewable and allied sectors, directed the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors and Darwinbox to achieve full digital HR adoption, and built group-wide HR analytics dashboards used in leadership and board reviews. Earlier at Greenko, as General Manager and Deputy General Manager, he strengthened HR governance frameworks, supported large acquisition transitions, and launched the company’s first paperless performance management system.
Prior to joining Greenko, Dayavathi was Manager – HR Operations at SunEdison, managing HR operations and compensation & benefits across APAC and Sub-Saharan regions. He implemented Oracle Fusion and Taleo systems across multiple geographies and maintained zero non-compliance across consecutive statutory and SOX audits. His earlier career includes technology and operations leadership roles at Mphasis, Intelligroup Inc., iSOFT R&D (India) Pvt Ltd, and HCL Technologies, building deep expertise in HR automation and operational excellence.
He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management in Human Resources from NMIMS Centre for Distance and Online Education.
